For any sheet metal part, it has a certain manufacturing process, so-called process flow. With the difference in the structure of sheet metal parts, the process flow may be different. The process described below is mainly what our factory can do.
CNC punching. First step is to write CNC machining program. Using programming software to write cutting program which can be recognized by CNC punching machine based on expansion diagram. Let machine follow the programme to cut metal sheet into specified shape step by step.
Laser cutting. Laser cutting is one of the thermal cutting methods, which is the use of a focused high power density laser beam to to cut each work piece into required shape.
In our factory, pressure riveting studs, pressure riveting nuts, pressure riveting screws are often used, generally operated by punching or hydraulic pressure riveting machines to rivet all fasteners to each work piece.
Bending is to folding 2D plate into 3D parts. This process requires a folding bed and corresponding bending tools to complete. It also has a certain bending order. The principle is to bend the first step as has no interference for next step, then to bend interfering step.
Welding is to weld a number of parts together to achieve the purpose of processing or to weld the edges of a single part to increase its strength. Common welding methods are : CO2 gas shielded welding, argon arc welding, spot welding, robot welding and so on. The selection of welding methods is based on the actual requirements and material.
Surface treatment usually has phosphorization, Electroplated-zinc, chromate, baking paint, oxidation, powder coating, hot dip galvanization and so on. We have our own powder coating line and sandblasting room, painting room. The selection of specific surface treatments is based on the requirements of customers.
Assembly is to set up a number of parts or components together in a certain way to make it a complete end product. It is necessary to pay attention to the protection of the work piece without scratch. The assembly and package is the last step of sheet metal fabrication.
